This is the main steel structure of the hull. The special armor is modular and is usually attached to the roof. In this case, the vehicle is damaged and incomplete.

the object to the right is the commanders FN-mag mount.

No I’m talking about the right side of the photo, next to the trophy aps

Do you mean this, as it’s the gunners ACAV type armour shield? I should have pointed it out when I first posted the photo.

Yea, that is the commanders FN-mag mount. From that angle it looks strange.

It does not have the gun fitted, which makes it harder to tell what it is.

Oh I understand. The combination of the angle and not mounted makes it look unidentifiable.
