H.P.
Just found this. 'Bout peed myself.
Did make me think of the Dragon Leupold kit that I picked up a couple months ago for $45 without thinking how I was going to “magically blend” it into the stash closet. Still in a locked storage room at one of my customers Air B&Bs. Thinking I might have to build it there at this point.
Good plan. Unfortunately, I’ll only be able to get it in the garage with that tactic. The “175 degree” garage (modest exaggeration). Besides, you’ve seen the box before Greg? 27 1/2 x 17 1/2 x about 8". Her: WHAT is THAT? Me: Just a plumbing fixture HoneySnookumsDarling. I’m putting it in my office for safe keeping; very delicate; very dangerous. Her: Then why don’t you leave it in the garage instead of crapping up your office even more. Bad enough with the stacks of model kits and gun parts all over, etc.
I pick my battles now.
Ah but the wax rings need to be stored at room temperature of they could melt. ![]()
Touche Monsieur Jarhead! Unfortunately, I let my plumbing license expire about 10 years ago.
My best bet would be a rebox of the entire kit. It’s fluffy to protect everything, but well done. Or just get the AM stuff and build-in-place. That’d actually be a nice lunch break. Hmmmm…
Get your wife hooked on a hobby of her own?
The real solution is for all of us is to build down the stash some so there is more room to add newer kits.
That’s crazy talk.
