I believe this:

Is what these special troops are wearing:
Honestly, is there anything Russian we need that Trumpeter doesnât do?
Maybe this one (9P163M-1 âKornet-Tâ ATGM carrier )âŚ
But their 9P157-2 is rather close ![]()

WoW!!! Excellent work.
A humble suggestion:
A Putin figure on lit-de-parade âŚ
There was one of him riding a bear in some kit.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FeMqlyARllg Did anyone say âfakeâ?
Now this is an interesting creature. It has the flush firing ports and sloped engine deck of the BTR-70, but the two piece side troop doors of the BTR-80.
Meng T-90 for Putin on the bear, and they also did Trump with a M1A2.
I guess itâs a Ukrainian variant called BTR-70D.
It can be fitted with a different turret

If youâre into 28mm wargames, Spectre Miniatures offer a four-figure âWorld Leadersâ set for their modern skirmish games - the choice of leaders defines when it was released ![]()
He would probably work with the 1/48 Suyata T-90A but not so much with 1/35 stuff.
Anyone say âdeep penetrationâ?
Competing with The Tractor about who can plow the deepest âŚ
I have a Trumpeter BTR-70 that I planned on doing it in the Chechnian intrusion. Iâll try to dig it out and maybe see whatâs in the box. Be nice if it came with both door styles. Iâll dig it out later tonight as I know exactly where it is (for a change)

Have any mt-lb 6mb vehicles been used in the conflict to anyones knowledge? I have seen lots of pictures mt-lb apcâs but not the 6mb. Thanks
I believe the 70 has a clamshell type door like the 80.
Just deviating from the topic a smidgen. This is early days. We may be talking about other countries military equipment at some time in the near future.
Now that would be helpful, as Iâve some modern Russkies in the stash that will need painting soonish
No, the BTR-70 just had the lower door between the #2 and #3 wheels.
The BTR-80 introduced the two part door
Wow, I stand corrected
