Totally agree.
Yes! Thatâs the one.
Russian tank transporters used in Ukraine

Hmmm,
extreme chipping of the paint.
That poor beast seems to have received very little in the way of maintenance.
Couldnât they have given it some paint before starting the Special Military Operation?
Almost looks like an unintentional pixel camo schemeâŚ

Paint pot lids were rusted shut @Uncle-Heavy
Do not resuscitate?
What about the meaning? Remember: German tanks were carefully processed, and Soviet tanks went into battle not even painted.
This is an old photo, from May, and it was already here. So it is quite possible that this is a former Ukrainian tractor. They have to ask.
PS. Added: I have now made a response to the first post.
If I âownâ equipment I keep it maintained, just in case it must function when I need it
If I, by some method or other, become the owner of equipment that has been owned by someone else and intend to use it then I need to check and it, repair if needed and then maintain in case I need to use it.
Maybe they considered the chipped paint to be a sufficient camouflage âŚ
Sorry for the repostâŚNow I know why it looked familiar

You can also see it there - the condition is working, it can transport tanks. And the color or presence of paint does not affect the transportation of tanks.
Back in the day, when I had to fill out 2404âs, the easiest thing to enter was vehicle needs touch up paint. And it was indeed the easiest thing to do, given options like lubing all of the U joints or checking the waterproof seal. If a unit cannot even deal with rust management, I really doubt theyâre doing complete teardowns of old engines. Sure, it may run, but so did the Chevy Nova we had when I was in high school. Due to the prior ownerâs lack of maintenance, it reached a point where it the only gear that worked was reverse. Come to think of it, maybe thatâs all they need.
Youâre right. A perfect reference for the hairspray technique.

You are absolutely right for the army in times of peace. If the military, who do not fight, also do not deal with equipment and weapons, this is very bad. In the Russian army in peacetime, almost all equipment looked like this.
I am sure that in the armies of other countries in peacetime, the equipment looks good.
But the DPR army did not have peacetime. It originated in the war. And the fact that they were able to make a serviceable car from the cemetery of technology is an achievement!
Yes. Itâs a pity I donât really like wheeled vehicles.
peeling, fading, scratches and rust. Thatâs all a modeler could ask for.
