Yeah, the warm weather clothing and lush greenery are not the case for conditions now in Ukraine. Fallen leaves, mud, and cold weather gear should be standard about now. Perhaps even some snow here and there.

Panda (China), Skiff (Ukraine) and Zvezda (Russia) have kits for the BMD-2 and Aber makes an aluminum barrel for the kit with a brass muzzle brake. You could graft the BMD-turret on any BMP-2 kit.

I guess this BMP-1 variant is the one built by the Zhytomyr Tank Plant (the AGTM launchers are not fitted in John’s post picture)

the pictured BMP’s are in fact BMP-2’s…(one can notice the larger BMP-2 turret ring.)

It does help , my thanks . Actually sitting down with the solder torch and some brass , planning out the rear interior right now and the last pic helps a lot
