Not exactly “news” or surprising, since 2014 -after the russian anexation of Crimea- an undisclosed/confirmed number of formerly Ukrainian T-64BV’s felt in pro-russian/russian hands.

I guess the truck below is a French-supplied Renault GBC 180 (soft cab variant)

The name would be better suited to one of the softskins like the many hapless Kamazes that cannibalize anything they can from destroyed vehicles in a vain attempt to up armor them.

Or perhaps they had to steal an engine or a transmission from a gun that actually still had one.

Cigarette filter butts make fine improvised earplugs. The Dshk probably won’t make your ears ring any worse than a Ma Deuce. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:
