Not necessarily, they could be used for rear guard roles freeing up current assists to be used on the front line thereby making them a valuable assist.
The M-84 is based on the T-72M…Not the same family tree

Thanks! Details appreciated.
As noted, the M-55S is a significant modernization of the T-55, so nothing to do with the M84. It does use the 105mm L7, which probably came from Israel since Elbit was one of the contractors. Supposedly, Ukraine is getting 28 of the 30 that Slovenia has in storage.
No 1/35 kits that I know of, other then the conversion for the Tamiya T-55 produced by AEF Designs, long out of production and not worth searching out given its quality (like many AEF products).

According to the caption, this one is a destroyed Russian T-90S
I wonder where it could come from…

I love the “low-rider” look from the “heat treated” torsion bar suspension …
I want to see some T-90S tanks intact for model reference.
BAT-2

Russian Macho Movie with irritating music:
includes a jump scene (apparently mandatory in Russian tank promotion videos)
More realistic video
Clearing a lane to assist in fighting a forest fire
Clearing snow and towing trucks. The blade isn’t optimal for snow clearing
Ummm …, it IS expensive
on the other hand it is “only” 4 or 5 “normal” tank kits
so it comes down to a matter of priorities.
It’s just like an American promotional video.
