Modern US troops in 1/48 scale?

Is there anything other than US pilots and ground crew in quarter scale? I’m looking for modern US troops and vehicle crew, OIF/OEF onward. Can seem to find much to chose from…

I don’t know. The offring in this scale is very poor.

There are. I saw them at the IPMS USA Nationals lst week. I don’t know who else makes US figures other than Tamiya (US modern 4x4 in 1/48 includes two) but they’re out there. Their M1A2 has a half figure as well. I imagine you get a couple of usable heads and gear you can do a lot of converting. If anyone has the skills, I know you do.
For modern British figures, Airfix offers several options , such as:

@Maki Did you try Tori Factory’s 1/48 JGSDF figures? At least they have helmets, NVG brackets, kneepads, and look similar to US figures. You can probably “wing it” and have them pass as US soldiers of today.

CMK makes a 1/48 modern US soldier. It says 1/48 but do check to make sure it is as they make a 1/35 one of the same pose also. It depends on how much you want to spend as some here on Armorama note the missing NVG bracket on the helmet that Tori Factory’s JGSDF figures have.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will pass on the CMK, as I don’t think their sculptor did a good job on many of their offerings. These figures just don’t look proportional and anatomically correct.

I did notice “Japanese volunteers” from Tori on Hobby Easy and… didn’t really know what to make of them. They definitely look a lot like modern US troops, one of them apparently has a Ukrainian emblem, so they could work I guess. Thanks!

@Maki There is always Shapeways and 3-D printing although the details leave a lot to be desired.
