I did sort of a tutorial on it here somewhere. I make three sizes. I even put them on the belt sander so the fronts and backs bulge outward.

Finally! After months of frustration over the problem of mounting my Pegasus models Nautilus submarine on its vinyl squid/seafloor base, I hit on the best solution: brass rods inserted through two of the squid’s tentacles, one on each side the submarine and into the sub’s hull. I secured them to the squid with Bob Smith’s insta-cure glue and Instaset Accelerator. I went a step further and secured the base to the sub’s custom-made display case with short screws. Worked like a charm.
