MPC 1978 Dodge D100

Here is my take on the recent issue of the MPC Dodge D100:

The build is essentially box-stock, with a couple of add-ons. The “County Road Commission” decals & the MPC bumper sticker are from the recent issue of the MPC Gravel Trailer, the roof marker lights are from the AMT 1972 Chevrolet C10 Fleetside pickup, Michigan plate is from the kit, amber roof beacon is from the Spare Parts Box, and the bed toolbox is 3-D printed from Cults (it’s not the best, but it fits the bill). Color is Tamiya Orange TS-12 over grey primer. Not totally sure what to do with the mini-bike.

Thank, Ryan. I’m planning on pairing it with a Diamond-REO C116 dump truck.

:face_with_monocle: I see that MPC bumper sticker :slightly_smiling_face:

How did you paint the bed tool box chrome?

Yes, that bumper sticker is kind of small.

The toolbox was painted with Rust-Oleum Bright Coat Chrome.

That is a good scale chrome

That will look nice together. What kit/s are you using to make the dump truck?

I thought so. The plan is to use the AMT/Ertl Diamond-REO kit as the base:

With the dump box from the AMT/Ertl Gravel Trailer:

Orange cab/hood/fenders, black frame, & aluminum box. At least that’s the plan.
