Hi all,
Would anyone be interested in a conversion of an IDF Nakpadon?
Hello!
While I wouldn’t build one myself I would gladly see one built…
BUT I have a Nagmachon that I want to build one day.
I have also some questions for you - like what can you tell me about that track that can be seen in the photo you posted - it’s not a standard centurion track, is it? Was it used on a Nagmachon too? Any special unit, time frame or something like that?
And how about that “Droid” missile defence - what can you tell me about that?
Finally - can you write something more about the Nakpadon itself - it’s features and mission?
Thanks in advance and have a nice day
Paweł
The track is standard Centurion “Hush Puppy” track developed in the 60s and was used on Nakpadon, Nagmachon, etc. Many photos are out there with Nagmachon sporting this track. It is rubber block track to minimize damage to roads and such.
I am into anything IDF, so yes!
Yes!! I’m interested by all modern IDF parts
Definately would be cool conversion.

Hi, the Droid is now obsolote, but still classified defence system. This is softkill type APS, working sililar to Russian Shtora.
As fot the vehicle there is a good article at Wikipedia, with a lot of informations, of course in polish Nakpadon – Wikipedia, wolna encyklopedia
Yes!!! I’m interested too
I am stuck with my Nakpadon conversion for 20 years. That´s why no styrene company made a kit of it.
Depends on what the base kit needs to be. If you choose an AFV Club Shot Cal kit then it is a no. If you choose a HobbyBoss Nagmachon kit then it is a yes.
Hm you like CopyBoss? I like AFV Club, so worlds are different. I have the Nakpadon from A.E.F., not build yet, but in regards of A.E.F. it seems to be a nice start…
It is based on the AFV Club Shot-Kal, and will also fit on the Hobbyeasy Shots, which are cheaper copies.
The HobbyBoss Nagmachon is a good kit, but has too many inaccuracies, like the incorrect front armour, and the poor quality of the wheels, but as I always say, each to their own!!
So you will need tracks and lots of extras besides the superstructure.
I think the HB kit will be a better start than the Shot Cal. Besides the price difference.
All you will need it the lower hull, suspension, wheels, track and engine deck from the plastic kit, then every thing else to make a Nakpadon will be in the conversion.
I love the look of this monster!
Yes, I’d be interested (as I am in all IDF stuff).
