Not that it might stop me, because there’s not a lot else accuracy wise happening with this kit, but do you recall if the 109s had the maple leaf on the turrets a la Leopard? I’ve found exactly one photo of one in Germany in the late 70s sporting the old 3 tone and that’s it.
Canadian M109A4s had wegman smoke dischargers mounted.
Not on the NATOflage. Like you i’ve only seen one pic out of Lahr with the maple leaf. And that version was an A1.
