The T-10M tanks were modernized versions of 1950’s made heavy tanks that, according to Wikipedia, had NBC protection. I asked the same question about the BTR-152 and found their “protection” only consisted of an exhaust fan. Same case with the T-10M?
NBC protection on the T-10M (and BTR-152K) was probably not an exhaust fan but an overpressure system that forced filtered air into the vehicle so that airborne contaminants could not enter.
