Hi, I need help with reference photos for Rice Red Devils m4 from the Korean War. For some reason, at least it is hard to find pictures of the tank.
Jack
I am only finding models that have the scheme on them, not photos which I was surprised about.
the 89th Tank Bn. of the 25th Infantry Division, participated in Operation Ripper, in which they, along with the 3rd Infantry Divion and the ROK Army’s 1st Infantry Division liberated Seoul from the KPA.
Yes, that is the battalion
I did not know they had the .30 cals by the commanders.
For additional firepower; You can see the M3 tripod strapped down; unlike the dedicated mount you see on the M4A2E8 in the movie “Fury”.
You can also see a commander .30cal on “Thunderbolt VII”.
Thank you. I have 2 questions
- Do they make those tripods in 1/16?
2)I was gonna do a conversion for that exact tank instead of the Rices red Devils. But I couldn’t find the t-66 tracks.
Ok thank you, is there a company that makes the t-66 tracks?
HenLong makes tracks for 1/16 RC tanks and they offer T-66 tracks, don’t know if these will fit or you will need new drive sprockets.

PanzerArt makes a set of t-66 tracks.
Are they in 1/35 or 1/16
They make both but I was specifically looking at 1/16 for your question.
No way, I will get those. Instead of making the rices red devils I can make the tank I wanted to before. which was a ww2 up-armored version.
I’m not sure which 1/16 kit you are using, but the initial release from AHHQ included T-66 track. But the Rice’s Red Devil tanks used T-80 track, which is included in AHHQ’s Korean War Sherman that also includes decals for Rice’s Red Devils.
I am using andys Korean war Sherman with the t 80 tracks
