Yeah, nobody thought of that, I bet.
Seriously, one doesn’t spend a couple of million adapting an airborne missile to ground launching w/o some consideration of guidance. They’re actually pretty smart blokes.
And if you’d watch the video closely, you’d see that the ASRAAM is IR-guided. The target is acquired using the ground console. Once detected, the operators lock that warhead (super-cooled) guidance package to the target and fire.
No radar required, it seems. They thought way ahead on this one!
