I feel if you use a few too many of these in the same display it’s going to appear that the people in the diorama all shopped at the same IKEA.

Who’s to say they didn’t? Some of those components would be useful and not found elsewhere. And I guess it wouldn’t matter if some were broken separating them from the 3D scaffolds. Like any of these kits there’s nothing to stop a modeller adding to/extemporising what’s provided - personally I’d just use it as a starter for a larger ruin.
