These are really great looking figures. I love late war German figs in good poses, (cuts down on my bashing/scratch building requirements), especially if they’re in zeltbahns.
Zeltbahns have really shown up a lot more in figures in the last decade which is great. When I was a young kid in the early 90’s starting modelling, there were none. It was all M38/M40 tunics, plain stahlhelms and jackboots. I remember watching old re-runs of the show “Combat!” on TNT while building Tamiya German models with Verlinden accessories. Sometimes I miss the 90’s
I’m really glad to see things like zeltbahns, sumpfmuster smocks and the hoodless splinter smock being more common in media, modelling and video games in the last decade.
The G43 figure would work great for HJ in Normandy and I’ll likely pick him up for my 12th SS relaxed/casual diorama. The standing with the Stg really speaks to me. He would be great for Hurtgen, Ardennes, Kurland, Pomerania, Ruhr, Berlin scenes.
The K98k figure looks very familiar, perhaps a photo from Case Blue or Barbarossa? The kneeling fig in the M42 SS smock and Stg is great! Of interest is his “A” frame pack / Combat Assault Pack (Gurtbandtragegerüst ) a.k.a. Gefechtsgepäck für Infanterie Schützenkompanien. I think it looks really good and the mess tin and zelt look nice and tight, like the pack is doing it’s job. His pose is definitely inspired by a photo, I forgot which photographer took it or it’s location, but have seen it in the Bundesarchiv.
I don’t model WW2, but I am glad that Maciek is still sculpting and making resin figures.
His figures are excellent and so is his customer service . He does this mainly by himself.
I agree with Nate_W, these are nice, well posed figures and he’s right about the Gefechtsgepack on the kneeling SS figure, something that is seldom provided with figures (has there ever been one in styrene?). One error - the first SS figure has a Heer eagle on his right breast, it should of course be on the left sleeve, but probably easy to remove.
