There was another version of the bridgelayer offered to the British using a biber type launch mech over the rear.
This design has been around some time and has been demostrated on Stryker and warrior and is based on Pearson Engineering design

Yes it’s all about buying the modules and changing its role of the basic vehicle .
That was the initial design that the British started
