The first F1 subject is from well-known modeller, Mark Oakley. It covers his scratch-build of the 1975 Dutch Grand Prix Hesketh 308 driven by James Hunt to his and Hesketh’s iconic GP win.

It details every step of his thorough research, as well as details of the actual build and presentation of the model to Lord Alexander Hesketh himself.

The book contains many photos, most of which the author took himself during visits to see the car in various states of restoration/race preparation. It is still raced today in historic events.

The author is a stickler for absolute authenticity and used these photos, plus his own measurements, to build this accurate model, all of which are described in the book. It is therefore much more than just a book about a model.

This will also be the first in a series of similar books. https://www.tracklimitspublish.com/
