Well if it makes you feel any better, the Tamiya kit is going to retail at about £90 ($122) apparently.

Man, great time to be a Phantom Phreak! Nothing for years and now, suddenly, Academy, Z-M, and Tamiya. Whew! But you’d better have deep pockets.

…and none of those being a Late F-4E, good for a Greek Phantom, the only ones actually still flying :frowning_face:

Don’t fret, Dionysis, they’re coming! Z-M has announced a whole family of the “long nose” F-4s, including a late E. I’m building their early E now and it’s a beauty. Tamiya will have their hands full beating Z-M.
