I don’t remember seeing this posted here or Armorama news, so some images from Hobby Search Strids Vagn 103C (S-Tank Type C) (Plastic model) - HobbySearch Military Model Store .
It’s already in stock in Japan.
Looks better than the old Trumpeter offering (btw, comes with indi. tracks which will be divisive and some engine details). Excuse me if these were posted here already.

The fact that they include the kit with the stock assemblies and bipods for the two co-ax ksp m/58B (FN MAG) just tickles me!
The thinking was that if the tank was taken out of commission, the crew could remove the two machine guns, install the stocks, and continue to rain down righteous hell onto the enemy, though limited to full-auto 7.62 mm fire.
I wonder what the MSRP will be for this kit outside Japan?

Nice that the kit includes the bar armour, the vertical fence at the very front of the hull.

Great news! I’ll get one! Hopefully they have also a simplier camo than the splinter. To apply the splinter camo is nerve wracking …

Nice. I like that it has a (partial?) interior as well. It looks like a very nice kit.

Interesting. The plugs on the hull bottom give it a rc feel.

They are actually escape hatches for the crew.

Maybe the circle but not the center hull plugs. To me they look like you can select the angle of the vehicle and change it later.

1: Gunner / Driver
2: Commander / Gunner / Driver
3: Radio operator / Reverse driver
2 and 3 use each others backs as back rests, the radio operators position is HORRIBLY tight and cramped for a 6’4" guy.
The gun controls (aiming) are the same handles as for driving.
This thing is essentially a gun with engine and tracks, you drive the gun to where it needs to be, aim and fire
Edit: Correction by Ingvar Sylegard who knows more about this tank than I do

The angle (on the real thing) is controlled by the driver or gunner.
The front - rear angle of the chassis is used to control the elevation of the gun.
Pivot steer for gun traverse and angle control for elevation.

I still miss a Swedish tank crew. Did the Strv 103 had the splinter camo until their service end?

I have a mask set but never tried to apply of these irregular surfaces.

I guess it is a pretty complete interior then. Nice.

Would Blast Models Tank Commander also fit the bill?

The biggest fault is that it was unable to fire on the move and had difficulty tracking evasive targets.
I have never heard a good explanation of how the bar armor was kept secret. The holes in the bow would be obvious and surely someone in the military or the public (the tank was at the typical military displays in the country) must have been curious as to their purpose. The armor would seem to be at risk of being like the CDL tanks: So secret that no one knew they even existed, let alone how to use them in combat.

Well, No 1 on the caption above is the tank commander, No 2 is the driver/gunner and No 3 is the radio operator/reverse driver. Note the there is dual command meaning that the tank commander can drive, aim and shoot from his position if nessesary. Since the the main gun is autloaded it means that the tank could be operated by one person.
