I noticed new tracks on the LeClerc they look like the big block tracks on the Abrams
Diehl track or French model?

Gives me a reason to get the tiger models leclerc and add a set of abrams big block tracks and replace my tamiya LeClerc
Just did a test fit the Abrams sprocket fits the tamiya leclerc tracks
The Tiger Models Leclerc has this tracks. I’m building the kit since a few months and the the tracks are decents even if i replaced the connectors by some from a Leopard set by RFM. The tracks itself is a bit differents from those of the Leopard.
The Tiger kit has better details than Tamiya one (even if there’re not the same version) but rivets counters will find some additional work.
those tracks look a lot the the T158 big bloack tracks on the M1A2 so I think ill take that route
Close, but not quite right.
I get the impression that the rubber blocks on the Abrams are more rectangular,
different length/width ratio but I may have been tricked by the cut-off corners and/or
the differences in viewing angle.
The Leclerc blocks have rounded corners while the Abrams blocks have the corners
cut at a 45 degree angle

The Leclerc SXX pics show the tracks. The internal view of the track show differencies with Leopard or Abrams tracks…
With that new brown paint scheme are the roadwheels and drive sprocket still painted black?
Thanks Frenchy i was looking that the tracks in my Tiger Models Leclerc and they look more like Leopard 2 tracks and when i see pics of the track on the Leclerc they look similar to the Abrams
You’re right.
The new tracks are genuine French made.
