New tracks on the LeClerc MBT

I noticed new tracks on the LeClerc they look like the big block tracks on the Abrams

Gives me a reason to get the tiger models leclerc and add a set of abrams big block tracks and replace my tamiya LeClerc

Just did a test fit the Abrams sprocket fits the tamiya leclerc tracks

The Tiger Models Leclerc has this tracks. I’m building the kit since a few months and the the tracks are decents even if i replaced the connectors by some from a Leopard set by RFM. The tracks itself is a bit differents from those of the Leopard.
The Tiger kit has better details than Tamiya one (even if there’re not the same version) but rivets counters will find some additional work.

those tracks look a lot the the T158 big bloack tracks on the M1A2 so I think ill take that route

I get the impression that the rubber blocks on the Abrams are more rectangular,
different length/width ratio but I may have been tricked by the cut-off corners and/or
the differences in viewing angle.

The Leclerc blocks have rounded corners while the Abrams blocks have the corners
cut at a 45 degree angle

The Leclerc SXX pics show the tracks. The internal view of the track show differencies with Leopard or Abrams tracks…
