Apparently they haven’t read "Under a Graveyard Sky - John Ringo

“Cover the ‘making it so they strip is smart,’” Tom said.

“I’m going to have to say a word everybody is avoiding,” Curry said with a snort. “Starts with a z. Anybody want to say it before me? Mr. Bateman?”

“Zombie?” Bateman said. “As long as it doesn’t leave the confines of this room.”

“One thing that always bugged me about biological zombies,” Curry said, musingly, “at least the ones that were something like realistic. Say, I am Legend. They’ve got to crap. Every species eliminates waste. If you can’t figure out how to use a door handle, how are you going to take off your pants to take a crap? And modern clothing is going to plug it up. Eventually the subject dies of impaction and necrosis.”

To each their own, but I don’t get the whole zombie thing. It’s all pretty stupid to me. Not a fan of any of it.

Me too. It has been a few years since the first one in the Zombieland Series was released. :skull:

I think that zombies gained popularity with the “Resident Evil” video game series where the player defends and frees cities from zombies.

Zombies aren’t my modeling genre either, but from watching TV shows about them, they’re very tough to kill, and I think that is the appeal of the zombie subject matter as they are undead and spread disease and infection. The Survivor is not supposed to be bitten, spat on, bloodied, or touched by a zombie so that increases the appeal of this topic, I suppose. And the odds favor the zombies by their sheer numbers.

Zombies are just plain old silly fun. And wonderfully challenging to paint.
Looking forward to sinking my teeth into this release. (Ya, I know…groaner. :man_zombie:)
