Nice figures. I like the one of Carius, although the KC seems a bit large. The figure was apparently modeled after a fairly famous newsreel “grab” of him in 1944. Not sure why the Panzer uniform was painted in reed green, since he is clearly wearing the mouse-grey version in the image. The face sculpt is awesome, however, for 1/35. I should know who the SS “ace” is, but the name escapes me at the moment. If it’s supposed to be Wittmann, then I do not think the face sculpt is quite as good as the one for Carius.

Alpine figures are starting to look a little bland and stiff. They need to show a little more action and not just “guy standing in the turret”. And I don’t mean more pointing off into the distance.

Agreed. And I’m not impressed by their faces. Look kind of doll-like to me. (Don’t get me wrong, I’m a big fan of Alpine.)

Maybe that’s because of the paint style… but they do not show an unpainted figure to check
