CRAARV looks good but the Cr1 still has obvious issues on it … Would be good to see more angles of it … And dont forget Trumpy Cr2’s …
Don’t worry SMM will sort them.
Well done Frank - thanks for posting.
Would be nice to see the front and if they have sorted that out with the correct height across the upper glacis … the openings either side of the drivers cab are still there so I wont hold my breath.
Oh dear - more CAD work in my future!
I wonder if they’ll make the wheels round this time?
Too bad, I recently bought the Tamiya kit, & it is mostly done (camo right now, still needs clearcoats & decals + weathering). Using the nylon nets for the stowage racks was a pain, but it wasn’t in the budget to get PE.
Damon.
Mwahahaha
So they weren’t round the first time?
Blimey …
I use this trick.
- small drop of CA-glue on a hard surface (glass, porcelain, et.c)
- soak a small area of the net, blow away the excess (breath or airbrush)
- repeat with another small area, add mor CA if needed
Good ventilation is mandatory, those CA-fumes are not pleasant …
A new Cr 1 has to be a good thing, right? I’d better hurry up and start the Tamiya Cr 1 I just got a metric $#!+ ton of AM for…
Trumpie’s first Cr2 had a slight wheel issue due to poor moulding IIRC. They fixed it eventually but it was a classic mistake…
To be honest, looking at those new images, I will be sticking with the Tamiya Cr1 and adapting it… I can to many potential issues with it.
Spoke to them and it’s just a prototype printing so far, showed them a picture of the added armour mounting bracket as missing from there kit .
Andreas Kirchhoff picture.
Lets hope they get the extinguishers correct at least … looks like they have addressed the upper glacis issue… will wait for the real thing before I condemn it lol
New sprockets and tracks for the CRAARV if your going to bring it up to date!
Thanks Frank for those additional images as well mate
Your Welcome.
