Just bought the book in anticipation of cracking the project box out containing Trumpeter 103C. This new kit, wow, interior detail, engine, good looking detail, can’t wait for this one.
Timeline for purchase?
Cost?
Has anyone one built Hobby Japan’s 35th kits?
They also have a few new mold Type 74’s of which I have one. Purchased for around $56, from the usual online place I frequent. Looks real nice with good sharp molding. The Strv should be very good.
great, I waited for this release.
That’s not too hard to scratchbuild, though it is tedious, especially the strips that hold the bars together:
This is the Accurate Armour kit that I bought shortly before the Trumpeter one came out (I was wondering at the time why they gave me a discount on it at Euro Militaire; a few weeks later I learned the reason when I read the latest Military Modelling). The bars are brass rod, the strips are plastic with holes punched in them.
“Equipped with ride height adjustment gimmick” gotta have it then !
Thanks I will
My 1/72 Trumpy has the bar armour, like the Bovington museum example.
It´s not “ride height” adjustment. It´s part of the gun laying system.
Yes, but I was quoting frm the marketing blurb.
With respect to residents in Sweden, anyone know of a hard copy source for: Strv 103 Photo Guide? It is listed in Scalemates as published in Sweden. I think there could be electronic copies but would like to have the physical book. I have no other information.
You can order it directly from the Publisher.

Ok, many thanks for the solution!
While the WWP book Hermann pointed out is good, I believe you are asking about the one published by the Swedish Armour Historical Society which is probably a bit better. You can order it direct from them, just go to their website. But it looks like it’s no longer available, might have to email them.
With an opportunity to review here, I emailed the Swedish Armour Historical Society. This is actually the book I wanted while pending availability of the Tankograd book. Not discounting the WWP book, working on that source with hope that the museum did not do any “restoration” non-standard with original. After going to my stack of the old Profile Publication Armor series S-tank booklet, I realized I could really use photos and drawings (sure, after all these years) of the tank. Tks!
