NEWS: Hobby Link 1/35 M818 Conversion Set

Hey Gino. I got 4 thru Wanamaker. Did he say he was fixing before any shipped yet. Thanks

I would assume so as he said they had not shipped yet.

Did you get a reply from Wanamaker? I sent an email asking to reserve one for me and have not gotten a reply.

These are now available at Wanamaker Hobbies.

Hey Gino, would you build a proper M60 slick please?

Sorry, already built the Dragon one and it looks good enough for me. No plans on another.

I second that request!

I have too and I’d much rather see Takom or Tamiya do one. model on though!

I’ve just bought one from WM. I believe, from what Scott said, its’s the first one to be delivered.

Based on the rate I build, it wont be the first to be built!

I just looks at these and they say out of stock already. Is there a chance of buying direct from the producer?

I order direct from Hobby Link all the time - at least 3 times since he first started and another order going in soon. Send him an email with the kits you want and he will provide the cost with shipping.

I have ordered direct from him. The conversion for the M54 is been worked on and will be out next month. :+1::grinning:

Which conversion set? The M818 and M809 cab conversion sets are already out.

Anybody got one of the HL sets and corrected the hood front yet?

I’ve got one pending and am wondering how “out “ they are.

I received one on 22 July from the initial shipment with the updated hood from Wanamaker Hobbies. Not sure how many were shipped though.

I’m guessing mine, shipped on the 18th, arrived about the same time. Opinion to date is generally positive, but the hood still seems out in all the ways mentioned earlier on the site.
