NEWS: More 1/35 Trumpeter Helos announced

Trumpeter is showing a few new 1/35 helos in their 2025 Catalog.

They include a UH-1Y Venom USMC helo. We will see which comes out first and which is better, Academy or Trumpeter.

And two versions of the Russian KA-52 Alligator attack helo.

I hope these come along soon.

I’ll have the Kamov’s for sure.
Also the single seat version would be nice

They’d have to be new moulds as, to the best of my knowledge, no one else has done these in 1/35.

Except the heads would the crew from DEF model be right for UH1Y ?

Yes, they are wearing USMC flight suits w/flotation collars.

Reedoak makes Navy/USMC helo pilot helmets too. Just add a couple Hornet heads and you would be set.

Also, they do full Navy/Marine helo pilots as well. They are designed for Sea Hawks, but could be made to fit in a UH-1Y.

Oh man. So keen to see the 1/35 Ka-52.

As for the UH-1Y, it’s almost a given that Academy’s offering will be very good - same designer has been working on it as the person behind Academy’s AH-1Z. The cockpit details were a bit off on that but the exterior is beautiful.

1/35 ACH-47A is to be available soon

.

thanks for the info Gino I’m just impatient and fed up of hearing the word “soon” it seems to cover anything that might happening in the next 12 months, especially since this chinook gunship was hinted at since the middle of last year.

sorry if i sound frustrated but these kits must be in boxes by now to start shipping them so i can buy one!

Its reported as being available in March, we’ll see.

ok, I’ll just have to hug my old 1/48 italeri version and wait for the nurse to give me my medication lol

Build up pic of the ACH-47A at a show in Japan recently.

It looks like their AH-64A and AH-1W tails below it too.
