No work surface and those ejector pin marks, gross! How the heck you supposed to fill those??? :face_vomiting:

On my own walk around photos of the A models it doesn’t show, but on the D models many, but definitely not all of those work platforms are lined with foil and silver tape. That would be the easiest way to hide them.
Perhaps we’ll luck out and find it on some A models as well. I just haven’t looked.

Unfortunately, it looks like the A models did not have the aluminum heat shield.

The kit is availabe now.

They have announced an AH-64A Late version as well.

Some modellers want see french Tigre or Caiman in 1/48 and 1/35

i just wish Academy would get off their butts and re-release their 1/48 CH-53E Super Sea Stallion.

i ain’t paying those sky high prices on ebay at $300-$400 a pop.

i could do a Dio with my NZLAVIII of when our Kiwi boys rescued an AH64 in Afghan

I could not agree more! I have often looked for this kit and can only find it on eBay at outrageous prices.

I just don’t see this as a good kit. The cockpit is missing at least the clear divider between the cockpit, the rocket pods seem to have two different sized holes, and the PNVS turret (top turret) seems too short vertically. There seems too much height different between the rear of the PNVS and the aircraft nose. The TADS turret look a little undersized too.

Your prayers are answered. Well, sort of, the Sea King 1/35 is sold out.

I almost brought a bunch of those home with me a few years ago, but instead loaded up my aviator it bag with K2 Panther kits. Not to make money here in the US - just because Academy stuff is dirt cheap in Korea. Or was. I wish I had gotten another bag.
