That is not the box art we talked about. A little too sensitive?

hopefully Zimi do a better job than Kitty Hawk with the soft detail, missing detail, and incorrect detail of the original kit. Failing that, ResKit will have to step up and fill the gap.

Either way, Reskit will certainly help with some aspects of the kit that simply can’t be done well enough in styrene, except for those who worship at the altar of ‘close enough.”

Found this whilst looking for details on the kit, looks promising as this was a very visible error of the kit from kittyhawk.

Don’t forget the Werner’s Wings stuff.

This should obviate the need for a lot of aftermarket.

I’m just happy to see these kits coming out. helicopters have been a neglected item and in thelast few years we seem to be getting a lot more new kits.

does anyone know what other rotorblade delights Zimi have in store?

Love the retro landscaping, and it looks like a roof is optional! Easy diorama reference

Looks like a full fold option, and 3D printed tail rotor, will also be offered (as aftermarket via Toucan). very nice.

Still hoping they give the A/MH-6M version the same treatment as I’ve done the J in a lot of detail and won’t personally make another one.

Looks promising, i like the plank mounted m240, too. No fairing over the door, though.

There are also these sets from Toucan available soon.

And in other helo news, there is an MH 47G block ii and an MH 60M conversion pending, from Full Send, CA.

But unfortunately the MH-47G (so far) is only in 1/48.

This image of the AH-6M’s instrument panel is from the video game “War Thunder.” Yes, it’s a video game, but it seems accurate to the decals of the Toucan aftermarket cockpit components.

The AH-6M cockpit features 5 displays of which 3 are adjustable.

This is the image i referenced when building the Kittyhawk littlebird,

It shows plenty of detail to add to the kit. And matches the decals,

Good image of the instrument panel…

Here is perhaps the latest version of the AH-6R. It has some upgrades including Terrain Following Radar and perhaps a LED spotlight at the front. You can see the video without logging into Instagram.
