Wow, that 1:35 Normandy Village section is wonderful. I love that these sorts of products are still around. I feel it was a real tragedy when Verlinden ended around when they were putting out incredible resin diorama bases that were almost ready to go ‘dioramas in a box’.
We could really do with some spiritual successors, and this feels among those lines.
One thing I wonder about is the size/dimensions of the street section in front of the building. That looks as if it will need to be extended to accommodate anything larger than a 251 Ausf D or Marder III M. Perhaps not large enough for they, even. I’m not sure. Either way, it looks fantastic and a like good buy.

Just keep an eye on the DioDump website. Roy Schurgers, the guy that runs the company, usually displays the finished product with a model on it so you can see what fits. I could ask him about dimensions at Scale Model Challenge next week.

As you can see, the base should hold a Sherman. A 251 or Marder shouldn’t be a problem.
