The Duke Hawkins books I have looked at are exceptional. I cannot remember if they take the photos that they do with modelers in mind, but if I intend to superdetail any aircraft model, I will look for a Duke Hawkins book as my reference.

Agreed. They are lovely creations.

They do have modelers in mind. The Duke Hawkins series was created because the author had bought a 1/48 kit of the SEPECAT Jaguar and tried to find a book to super-detail it and found nothing.
