Not exactly a model, but it's gonna be displayed with my models

So how many of you tankers and arty types saved a few empty shell casings? I did! I had a couple of 105mm casings with the intent that I would someday polish the casings and lathe down a dummy round out of wood…

But then one day surfing Ebay, this popped up, someone produces 3D printed replica rounds
( Shout out to redleg3d.com )

So it was one of those, I gotta have one!

So here it is. Replica M900 APFSDS and after I polish the casing, it’ll be displayed next to my armor collection…and you’ll note the new shelves

I was US Army MI so no shells, but I did end up with a huge Zutritt Verboten sign off the fence outside a classified installation. No clue how it ended up in my baggage! No way to use it in modelling, alas.

The3re’s a guy on eBay named “makersteve” that 3D prints all sorts of inert ordnance. Including both 105 and 120mm tank rounds
