NVA Use Of M48A3 Tank

Other than their ad hoc use of captured South Vietnamese tanks, did the NVA used them for anything else. such as defending from China, etc.?

When the United States withdrew from Vietnam in 1975, they left behind billions of dollars in equipment that was intended to be transferred to the ARVN; amongst it was thousands of pieces of American made armored vehicles.

All of it was integrated into the PAVN and used during the eventual wars and skirmishes between the Khmer Rogue and the Chinese. A lot of it is still operational and in storage.
