I have a few Afrika Korps vehicles. I have a few large wooden stool tops. I need to make a diorama also. Thank you for the inspiration and ideas.

Terrific dio! I really like the vehicle weathering though I thought that I’d share a tip in regards to the painted sand: before the surface dries apply clean, dry sand and let it bind before gently removing the excess; real sand looks more granular than you’ll ever get from a painted surface. I also wonder what got the rapt attention on those soldiers by the pond…a mermaid, perhaps?
