Well the matter seems to have settled itself as I can again post photos.

However (as you might expect - IMHO) if the powers to be where to block interested contributors simply out of some consideration for future security I would consider that simply true to form and not unlike the actions taken that delegated all past contributions to something called the “archives”.
As an aside: I will say the archives are proving to be more usable than I suspected though the failure of so many photos to have not made the transition is troubling.
You had said some of my photos were not available at the time they were archive. I am sure you believe this but it is simply not the case.
Anyway I will stop wasting your time as the problem, for the moment, has passed.
It would however be interesting to do a user survey to see just how many readers actually make use of the archives.
