Tamiya TS-5 Olive Drab spray represents the post-WWII darker OD well.

I just looked at a couple of photos I took of 3/4 Cav vehicles in early 1970 (a couple of months after your top photo is captioned). Tamiya OD matches the color of most of the vehicles. An M42 (a distance shot) had weathered to a lighter shade, but a coating of the dust in our AO probably affected this as well.
