This museum is situated in the area where, during operation Market-Garden (the Garden part) a fierce (and in restrospect, unnecessary) battle took place. According to some, it can be compared with the battle for Caen, with it’s large numbers of casualties, both military and civilians.
I was there in 2005, so things will have changed, but these photos will give a nice impression of what can be found there…

It certainly is. I know there is more to be seen nowadays. So a good reason to do a revisit!
