Hello:
I´m wrting in order to make you know that there´s a big gap in the figure´s universe out there.
There´s no figures -in any scale- to represent US WWII tanks, amtanks and LVT crews for the Pacific theater (like the ones that I show you below).
Hope this makes you work to fiil that.
Best regards.

I agree 1000%. Let’s correct this injustice.

I’ll be a party pooper on this discussion. I am 95% sure that it’s not going to happen.
Why? Multiple reasons we have heard over and over.
-
Ask any manufacturer or designer. Non-WWII German figures don’t sell well. ROI is simply not there. There is not enough demand. Financially, it is not convincing.
-
Too few manufacturers in business left nowadays - due to the advancement in 3D printing and rise in piracy.
For plastic injection molding, we are talking only a handful - Venerable Tamiya, ICM, MiniArt, and Master Box.
For resin & aftermarket, also only a handful:
Alpine Miniatures (this is the gold standard with world-class sculpting, but with a high price tag). When I talked to Taesung, his focus is mainly on WWII German figures because of revenue reasons.
3 companies out of S. Korea - SOL Model (expensive), Legend Productions (although they don’t distribute much outside of Asia nowadays), and DEF Model (Hyunjin Kim’s focus is more on AM accessories and doesn’t do many figures).
2 companies out of Russia, whose products are pretty much banned in the western market:
Evolution and Live Resin
There could be other small operations, but many of them have shut down.

It may be easier and quicker to get some 3D artist to CAD something and 3D print the figures.
-
The newer powerhouses like Takom, Border, Meng, and Rye Field have shied away from figurine productions to focus on more profitable vehicle kit productions. Their business model likely will not change.

Miniart did make a few M3’s that would look good with some crew.
Harper Castings made 2 or 3 sets of resin USMC WW2 tankers, long out of production I think. I have one set of 3 half figures but nothing I’m aware of in plastic. Warriors also made one holding a Thompson sub machine gun and Verlinden made a tanker figure but that’s really it.

I think Verlinden made one tanker figure too, but that’s really it.

The economic realities are hard to argue against.
Sigh …
It sucks, getting older sucks too …

Verlinden made a couple of WWII USMC tanker and Amtrac crew figure sets
This is the Amtrac crew. I have the tankers set saved in my stash for another project.
But yes, some more PTO tank crew figures would be nice. Even if not highly likely from anyone besides Miniart.
