Awesome work Jerry, please keep them coming. Best regards…Dale
Thanks Metalhead!
J
Thanks Sean,
Yes, the civilians around the battle zone were in a news blackout and there are many stories of them fleeing in EXACTLY the wrong direction, straight into the worse action.
We read histories written safely from a retired officers’ study about how “we had to level a town to make it unusable for the enemy as a route”. Well, that “leveled town” was also home to many people.
J
Thanks as always G

Thanks Dale for the kind words,
J
Keep going. Spoil us with your goodies!!!
Beautiful JR , did painting the red and white design on the quilt give you fits ? Nice job !!
Thanks,I will do my best!
J
Actually that was one of the few times I re-painted something. The first attempt turned out badly. Thanks man,
J
You Sir, are the master of all aspects of the art of the diorama. Always amazed and grateful that you continue to share your work. You know we are all waiting patiently for the book!
Cheers,
Rick
Thank you Sir. Very generous and kind words indeed. I appreciate that man.
I have a nice friend on FB that put all the 4 episodes into proper order and linked them with an opening page and table of contents. Pretty cool.
I wish I knew how to do that gee-wiz stuff, like making a pic into black and white.
J
Superb civvies JR. beautifully done! Is the bike from one of the Masterbox sets or did you use separate PE spokes? I have my reasons…
Thank you Sir!
It always tickles me when somebody turns one of my pics to B&W.
J
Thanks buddy.
Yes, the old man and bike with blankets, etc was a MB kit. Only change was the wicker suitcase and added teapot in the back. The bike is out of the box. I will say the PE spokes were turning the air a bit blue at one point. The lady is a modified Stalingrad fig.
The Stalingrad fig needed no work at all, bar the arm being repositioned. The MB old man was nice but required a bunch of undercutting, filling and “dremel tool resculpting”. Plus I used a number 11 blade to add age lines to his face. The beret needed a lot of re-shaping.
That is freekin brilliant man! They all look super. If I had to choose one it would be the last one. So so neat! Thanks so much.
J
Hi Jerry,
That pair work a treat in colour and B&W, liking the groundwork, if you don’t mind me asking, what do you use, ?
Cheers, ,

Thanks mate,
I use a combo of self made bushes and trees using seafoam and flocking method, bushes from Scenic Factory with Mininatur stuff interwoven in between. Woodland Scenics grass and lazer printed weeds and wild flowers. Keeping all random is the hardest part. Humans tend to want to evenly space things without realizing it and that never occurs in nature.
