Such a simple figure yet tells a story very eloquently (and effortlessly); keep 'em coming Jerry!

Thanks. Lots more in the line up.
I have to finish some sets right now. I am caught up on figures.

Hi Jerry,

The figure jumping into the foxhole is a great bit of animation, will he be armed, I’m no expert, but wouldn’t he be in trouble for not keeping his weapon with him at all times when so close to the front?

My favourite figures has to be the crouching bren gunner, lovely pose, and a real look of caution on his face, simply outstanding, :+1: :slightly_smiling_face:.

Cheers,,

He is a HQ guy jumping in to a commo point hole. I jumped the gun posting the pic before there was more context but I was pretty happy with the cammo job for once and couldn’t resist a happy snap.

You should be more than ‘pretty happy’ Jerry, it’s another excellent example of your painting prowess, :+1: :slightly_smiling_face:.

Thanks buddy. Vey encouraging,

For my next sequence in Epsom a village is needed and so I got down to it a few nights ago.
I began with this nice Miniart kit. But almost no villages had 3 story houses in the pics I have seen so I cut them down to two stories. This is meant to be the village Hight Street or Hauptstrasse. I don’t know the French designation. In period pics the windows were also usually shuttered and so I began that process as well. The door on the right looked gi-normous with a 1/35 scale fig in it so I cut it down as well. I will add a step later.
Anyway , considering my snail pace lately, pretty good progress so far.

Thanks for looking

What are the odds you end up having some scenes with troops going in/out doors and windows?

Pretty good odds.

Looks good so far and I think it will be great Good luck👍

Good job on that kit Jerry. I built the same one a year or two ago. You wouldn’t even guess it was ever a three story with the way you have it sorted out! The heavier, solid window covers you have done up also look much more natural than the ones in the kit.

Thanks Micke for the generous comments!

It worked out better than I expected that’s for sure.
The idea came to me like a smacker-o-blurdy. Now I want to show some variation in the rest of the buildings and also make a gateway in one of them to an inner courtyard for a village farm.

Looking great Jerry
