I like the way the figures look like they are carrying weighty objects, not just light weight props. Hope you’re doing well. Thanks for the updates.
Yeah I like this fella too- the suggestion of weight from his stance and how close to the ground the cases are is just perfectly observed.
The big bulky equipment sits so very realistically on the team members shown that you can just tell by seeing them that these are heavy, awkward items being carried and rushed into position. Plus I think the low positions of their heads and shoulders helps to convey they are under fire as well. Bravo Jerry, great to see.
i’, m flabbedgasterd
Thanks man. I know all to well how heavy this kinda stuff is. Plus,he’s trying to maintain a “low profile” while running.
Thanks ol buddy. It is one of my pet peeves. “Floaty” weapons always bothered me.

Thank you Sir! I am very appreciative of you noticing all that. My efforts are not in vain!

What they’ve said, & what draws my eye is the apparent slope in the 2nd shot – illusion? Either way it’s so cool…& is that a 25-pounder cotton-wool ranging in?
yep,it’s all smoke and mirrors and actually a straight edge! Plus, good old cotton puffs. Kinda cheesy but what other analog way is there?
J
Outstanding action and painting!
thanks buddy!
Weeeell seeing as you (rhetorically) asked…
All you need are a bunch of matches & some al…allo…tin foil
ahhh yes, I remember this epic piece. I really need my scenery for other shots though.
Beauty visuals JR , nicely done !!
Remember Tim’s motto , " It’s only booze and firecrackers , … what could possibly go wrong ? "
Too right my wife’s still on at me to tattoo some eyebrows
thanks buddy!
I wonder if down in Oz they also use that phrase “HEY …Ya’ll watch this”.
J
Rub some dirt on it and walk it off!
J

aluminium!
come on man, you’re 5 times my age!
at least I think that’s what you meant…
Cheers!

Ah sorry Logan, guilty as charged of cross-banter - I was referencing Glenn’s attempts in my Anthropoid blog on May 16 to spell the lightweight metal that begins with “A”. I think he was kinda referencing what the rest of the world views as the curious American pronunciation of that metal…then there’s “nuclear” but let’s not go there. And btw I’m only 117, not 435
I beg your pardon , " curious American pronunciation " , I happen to speak three languages fluently , South Joisey , English and bad English and we’ve discussed the age thing , we’re 120 as of last month …
