Operation "Epsom" details

It is but a well drilled crew can make it happen quickly.
And these guys were very well drilled! One of the last units formed during the war that had plenty of training time.

Excellent work and presentation J.R. , LOVE IT !!!

Now that is outstanding; what immediately occurred to me was that was how my Uncle Heinz was kept busy - albeit 9 SS. I wish he were still alive so I could show him this particular image; I’m sure he would have enjoyed it.

Brilliant work Jerry, just brillaint.

Jerry, I just love that latest picture! In fact so much that I’m thinking of doing something like it. The crew are outstanding, where did they come from or are they all more of your “Franken-figures”? What did you use for the lanyard that the bloke on the right is using to fire the gun?

Thanks matey. Gunners of all armies know how much hard work is involved. Sometimes less now because of fully mechanized guns and auto loaders but there is still a great deal of light artillery units that do it “old school”. Lots of sweat.

Thanks man,glad you liked it.
The figs are all conversions. Three were from the Dragon “Ambush in the Est” set and one is from their “Last Battles” set. 2 with Hornet heads and 2 with Alpine heads. Several hands were also Hornet replacements. The lanyard is just sprue, the good old standby material. ( And cheap ).

Yeah that looks freekin’ awesome dude! Thanks buddy. I wish I knew how to do this,

What do you use for a photo app?

I just post from my dig. camera right to me computer and then post them here. No photoshop is used at all.

Your camera might have B&W and/or Sepia presets. That could do some of it, but yeah, the magic is in a photo app. It’s not hard once you have a sequence of settings for an effect, but knowing which settings to sequence can be a learning curve. I use Pixelmator on an iPad and it takes about a minute to do one.

Prolly easy to figure out but I just don’t have the interest. I was never into the electronics. Yes…yes…I am a dinosaur .

Jerry

Been a while since I checked in but once again I’m so glad I did. This is all such good work.
So many things to compliment you on but the knackered MG gunner is a highlight for me. Outstanding stuff.

Keep it up

Cheers
