What an amazing mission. I surprised to learn that there’s actually a lot of criticism about this raid from the resistance. I’ll have to go get a copy of this.
Looks like a great read that I would love to add to my library. The Osprey Raid series are a favorite of mine.
Looks interesting and based on the famous story, but does it take a look at the evidence that emerged later that cast serious doubts about it, indicating the prison was in fact more than half empty with no prisoners awaiting execution, suggesting Operation Jericho was carried out for an altogether different reason?
