Ordering directly from Eduard

Anyone have experience ordering directly from Eduard ?
This is not a complaint in any way - just wondering what to expect . I have ordered some photo etch directly from Eduard in the Czech Republic and I am curious about the shipping time to east coast USA .
I chose the most economical method which ,IIRC was Czech Post ( not certain if I am naming it correctly) . I received e mail notification that they received my order and were processing it but that is the only e mail I received. When I logged in on their website and checked my order it says it has been dispatched. No tracking , either on their site or by email notification.
Is this the norm ? Thanks in advance for any advice.
Cheers- RT

I have done it several times and have no complaints. Shipping takes a while though when you choose the cheapest option.

Richard,
like Erik, I often order directly from Eduard and have also no complaint about their service. The fastest was 3 days from order to delivery. Okay, CZE and GER are neighbours. Ususally they send an e-mail about the status of your order, also with a tracking number when shipped. If you’re not sure what happened to your parcel just contact them. If you have just ordered some PE parts, maybe it’s not a parcel but in an envelope. You won’t get a tracking number then … :bulb:

Not Eduard specifically but from 3 or 4 European vendors repeatedly. I’m convinced that the major variable in the delivery time is US Customs. I’ve received from the same vendor a package in 4 days, and in 3 weeks, using the same shipping method. Tracked, so some visibility, but the 3 week one sit in some receiving station on the East Coast for a couple of weeks.

I know it’s not Eduard, but I hope this helps…

My lastest package is being welcomed in Miami. A nice long welcome apparently…

Got mine yesterday here in NJ - so 12 / 13 days.
Not bad - however $ 22 . Shipping for 2 pieces of photo etch totaling $ 16 . seems a bit steep. I think they could have included tracking for that amount.
Still glad to have them .

I have used SuperHobby out of Poland for many items especially Eduard PE as it is usually cheaper then many US places. Shipping on last item which was basically PE was $4 and change and had a tracking number. Forget get the speed but on pair with what you stated.
