OT 64 SKOT Query

I have recently acquired a 3D-printed kit of the ’ Burnt-Out OT 64 SKOT’ (from FC Model Trend).
According to references, this vehicle was produced for the Polish and Czech military. Given that the model represents a vehicle that has been totally destroyed, I am trying to work out an appropriate conflict scenario. My initial thought was the current conflict in Ukraine, but I can find no evidence of either the Russians or Ukrainians using this particular vehicle. Evidently, the OT 64 was used by certain African nations, so perhaps that would be a starting point … any suggestions?

Hello Paul
If you type OT-64 in Google you’ll find a number of pictures of destroyed or disabled vehicles, (most of them of the late versions) Some look like Middle Eastern countries vehicles.
The Poles used it in KFOR. I don’t know if they lost any though.

Wikipedia has some good info:

OT-64 SKOT - Wikipedia

One that jumps out is that it was supplied to Egypt in the late '60s so would be available for the '73 war.

*sorry for the late reply*

Iraq used a number of them in the Iran-Iraq War, all of them in service with the 5th Mechanized Division “Muhammad ibn al Qasim.” The division lost quite a few of them in the Iranian counterattack, Operation Beit ol Moqaddas, that liberated Khorramshahr in 1982. There are a couple photos of destroyed OT-64s from that operation.

Also, a couple are still in service with the Iraqi PMU militias, and I think Syria has them as well.
