Anyone have a recommendation for the silver lacquer used on the P-51’s wings? I am buying tamiya p-51D as a Tuskegee airmen bird. I plan to use Alclad aluminum for the NMF but was looking for recommendation on the wing color
Tamiya Lacquer Gloss Aluminum might work well.

Wings generally are painted white aluminium but flaps and ailerons I painted polished aluminium.

This stuff looks to be perfect
I used the gloss aluminum lacquer on parts of my current Thunderstruck project and it sure looks the part of aluminum lacquer that I’ve seen on actual aircraft in person.
