P40 in Italy maybe

hello everyone
I took out another model that I had started and not completed… then I remembered why.
all the armouring does not line up
the details of the suspension are mediocre
the rivets are of a different shape and form
through the engine compartment you can see the absolute void
the external parts are of a coarse finish

Must be a italeri kit?

turret required several test before gluing and after some “work” to realign plates

Italeri supplied extra rivets of uniform size on the sprues. From memory(Ha Ha), I believe they were on the suspension sprue. You can re-rivet the turret and hull. It is easier than you think. It did not take a long time to preform this task and does improve the look of the tank.

Ohhh, THAT kind of P-40! :grin: My bad!

Happy modeling dude :+1:

That’s what I thought initially, then I googled Italian P40. Completely forgot about that tank lol

I was thinking Warhawk also.:scream::thinking:

Large grilles need something underneath so that the engine compartment does not appear empty

I find black paint is easier than adding an engine :wink:
