I remember reading that the occupying Germans in France allowed a certain number of Panhard 178 vehicles in France, but only allowed with machine guns. Can anyone provide more details?
The old ALBY - Dragon kit features this option as well. The 25mm gun was replaced with additional MG. IIRC, there were some turetless vehicles as well

I think the Panhards you mention would have been in Vichy, rather than occupied, France.
