This is a Panzer 3J in 1942 approaching Tobruk. The diorama is still under construction.
The crew and officers are carefully examining a disabled British 6LB gun
nice job!
soldiers in effective positions.
i suggest you to change the antenna.
the gun is in travel position… if it is loose because the axle is broken probably a little detail of this is needed
It’s just a little too pretty. Some dust or other would do nicely. It looks like the 6 per is in the travel position rather than overrun by an advance and I think the trails splayed and maybe even bent by a tank trash would be a better dim.

OK it’s still under construction so we should wait, I assume sand/dust/weathering’s on the list? Meanwhile I like most of what you’re showing us so far & hopefully these comments may help. I agree the gun isn’t “talking”, the likely explanation seems to be it was abandoned while under tow because the wheel fell off, but if so it would most likely have ended up behind the direction the gun was being towed in. This leads into the thing I have about so many vignette/diorama bases being too small, I just don’t get why elements should hang (or appear to hang) over the edge for the sake of another inch all round. In this example lack of space is preventing the narrative making sense - it might make more sense if you lost the wheel altogether & turned the gun upside down.
The sign looks worth a look but we can’t see what it says yet. Some of the figures look slightly shiny & need dulling down. Keep at it Daniel, well worth completing
The gun has been abandoned as due to the broken wheel while in tow. It was moved aside by retreating British forces.
The diorama isn’t done and I’ll be adding more dirt and dust.
The figures are mostly from older Dragon, MiniArt sets.
I think it would be a nice touch to add the DAK palm and divisional symbol to the front and back of the panzer.
Jack
It is on the rear.
I’m working on an additional figure for the diorama. Either a DAK or Italian officer.

This tank in the Dragon kit only has a rear symbol
I’m not sure that the British had any of those 6pdr Mk IV (longer barrel with muzzle brake) at Tobruk. The early version was only just contemporary with the battle there.
My research said they arrived in North Africa in April 1942

Oh, can’t see the rear with the pix so far.
Jack
Here’s an update.
I also added a few more figures including an Italian officer.
more dirt and dust coming
Good tank realization, it’s preferable to complete swastika over palm tree if you don’t have legal constraints.
About gun I think it’s better without muzzle brake for Tobruk and Alamein period.
Some tapping with toothbrush and lighter color on the ground in order to simulate sand instead of mud?
It’s a work in progress.
My research showed this 6LB hun was at Tobruk. If I’m wrong, I’ll replace it with something cheap for a wreck. The Panzer 3J (early) is from an older Dragon kit and was a difficult build.
I’ve used a variety of figures and colors.
Lots of dust and dirt coming for contrast.
